Subcarpati – Am crescut pe la Romana

More creative light graffiti, this time a low-budget, high-tempo chase animation using stencils.
Ionut Negrila and Mihai Calota used 57 stencils and over 5000 photos over many nights to create this music video for Subcarpati.

Frogger, Donkey Kong, Tetris… all your favourite 8-bit classics show up in this wonderful One More Production short from Patrick Jean. Its a great concept, with some creative interactions between CG and live action elements, and top-notch CG integration.
Inspiring stuff.

Mood Collection – Reflection

French director/producerPaul Mignot’s personal take on New York is presented predominantly through the glimpsed images found in the reflections of the city’s many windows. This beautifully photographed piece shows the New York of the night slipping away and being replaced by a new day.
The style of the photography, with its reflections and natural layering, plus shallow depth of field giving the bokeh effect to the imagery, is the kind of photography that I love. Its hugely inspiring – I want to go get my camera.

Money Money Money – Gettin’ Money With a Mouse and a Wacom Pen

The guys over at Daily Planet Productions have created the nerdiest of all hip-hop music videos. Aimed squarely at an audience of designers and After Effects users, the gang pay a light-hearted tribute to the all of the tools and techniques used daily by artists in their work.
